Multi-Vehicle I-495 Crash In Chevy Chase Causes Miles Of Backups

A major crash was causing traffic problems along I-495 in Chevy Chase early Friday, May 31.

It happened along the outer loop between Connecticut Avenue and Georgia Avenue around 6:30 a.m.

All lanes were open as of press time however 6.5 miles of delays were being reported.
